>> About Me >> Biography
For the first half of my life I was in Upper Austria. From 1966 I was in Bavaria and from 1967 to 1971 at the Austrian Armed Forces - last as a "weatherman". In 1972, I came to the traffic management of LUFTHANSA in Munich - until "early
retirement" in 1993.
In 1987, I married Catalina, a Filipina
who became an Austrian two years later.
In 1993, I became an immigrant
in the Philippines, where I worked as a freelance journalist for regional newspapers and AM-radio stations in Visayas - until 2006. Then I retired and was
until 2016 often employed in Munich in the Bavarian National Museum.
I liked doing research for friends in the media in Bavaria and in the Philippines.
As a member of the prestigious Bacolod City Host Lions
Club since 1995, I became 2013 Mjf - Melvin Jones Fellow - of the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF).
From 2013 I was back home in Bacolod and since 18 May 2014 I was
engaged to Betty. We can not marry. Although the marriage with Catalina
was divorced in Munich in 1995, is this according to a desision on 29 December 2016 by the court in Bacolod not recognized.
Since 25 April 2017 I'm living at "Tabor" in Steyr / Upper Austria and and can take this opportunity to treat - among others - my since years existing thrombocythemia in the tumor outpatient department in the country hospital Steyr.
In the summer of 2018, Betty and I ended our relationship and I am now with Terry, a Filipina from Iloilo in Western Visayas. We also carry a so-called "Long Distance Relationship".
